I’ve been going on YouTube to watch property agents marketing houses, apartments and flats for sale and some of them had lights in the wardrobes. The other day I saw a sensor light for sale and decided to add them to my wardrobe.

The one I bought was 50cm as my wardrobe was rather wide. Even then the final price was less than SGD$12. In fact, you might even get it cheaper if it was on sale. Grab it using the link below.

So far it works great, as you can see from the video. I can now open my wardrobe when it’s dark outside in the morning and pick out something to wear without disturbing the wife with the bedroom light. Installation a breeze too!
I will do a follow up in 3 months, 6 months and a year to see how it goes. That way if you are reading this in the future, you get the added benefit of my long term experience.
After 12 months – An Update
The lights are still were working as perfectly as ever. The need to charge has not been as often as I would have expected so that is a pleasant surprise. The only issue I had is that the metal that the magnets connect to might fall off the surface that you mount them on. I would suggest a stronger adhesive option instead of the one provided.
